Abu Sajana Rahmathullah is an experienced Sensor Fusion Engineer currently working at Zenseact, where she is responsible for the design and development of target tracking algorithms in both Matlab and C++. In her current role, she has co-designed the architecture of the detection level fusion of the multi-sensor tracking algorithm and developed methods for signal processing of detections from radar and lidar sensors. Abu is also involved in proposing and implementing improvements to the algorithms, handling functional safety, recruitment, and master thesis supervision. Prior to her current role, Abu worked as a Subject Matter Expert in the Sensor Fusion group at Zenuity and as a Design Engineer at Volvo Car Group. With almost 9 years of relevant experience, Abu has a strong background in electrical, electronics, and communications engineering. She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Chalmers University of Technology in 2016 and her Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Anna University in 2007. Abu's expertise lies in developing algorithms for sensor fusion and target tracking, and she has a deep understanding of signal processing techniques. She is highly skilled in using Matlab and C++ for algorithm development and has experience in working with radar and lidar sensors. Abu is also proficient in requirements handling and functional safety, making her a valuable asset to any team working on sensor fusion projects.
